The Foundation for a Better, More Active Life
Aramid fiber soles, featuring a flexible sole and anatomical design, help with conditions such as bunions, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and neuropathy. The responsive sole enhances balance and stability, while the breathable, lightweight materials keep your feet cool and dry, ensuring all-day comfort. With improved foot function and a stylish design, you’ll feel confident and secure on your feet.
How Can Naturcontact Shoes Help Your Feet?
By providing minimal interference between your feet and the ground, these shoes allow your toes to spread, your arches to flex, and your feet to move as nature intended. This natural movement helps to strengthen the muscles in your feet and lower legs, improve your balance and posture, and reduce the risk of foot-related problems.
The Benefits of Aramid Fibers Technology™
The Alaskan™ features a unique Aramid Fibers Technology™ in the sole. Aramid fibers, such as Kevlar, are known for their high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent durability. By incorporating this technology into the sole, the Alaskan™ provides a level of protection that is unmatched by traditional barefoot shoes, allowing you to walk with confidence on any surface.
Eco-Friendly Materials for Comfort & Sustainability
The Alaskan™ is crafted with carefully selected materials that prioritize both your comfort and the environment. The sole combines eco rubber with a non-slip layer and high-tech Aramid fibers, providing excellent grip and durability. The upper is made from waterproof eco-vegan leather, offering protection from the elements. The inner lining features soft vegan leather with skin-friendly inserts, ensuring superior comfort. As part of our commitment to sustainability, all Naturcontact shoes are 100% vegan, containing no animal materials such as leather, down, wool, or fur.

Can I wear socks in Naturcontact barefoot shoes?
The choise is up to you. Most of our customers use our shoes as we intended: without socks. However, the term "barefoot shoes" does not necessarily exclude wearing of socks. From a health perspective, it doesn't matter if you wear socks in your barefoot shoes. It only affects the feeling when wearing them.
Can I put other insoles in my barefoot shoes?
Yes, generally barefoot shoes have a minimal sole, but for people who are not used to wearing barefoot shoes to begin with, a temporary transition from thicker insoles to minimal insoles can be a good idea.
What are the advantages of Naturcontact barefoot shoes?
Barefoot walking or running in barefoot shoes offers a variety of benefits, including: freedom of movement for the feet, reactivation and strengthening of the foot muscles, basis for healthy foot development, better blood circulation, activation of the vein pump sensory feedback. The stronger ground feeling also leads to better balance and surefootedness, as the body can optimally adjust to the ground conditions. As a result, the natural gait is maintained, the joints can move freely and naturally and perform their task unhindered.
Can I wash Naturcontact barefoot shoes?
All Naturcontact models (except Arctic Contact 2.0) can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degC on the gentle cycle. For cleaning, however, it is recommended to gently clean soiled areas with a damp cloth without using detergent. Shoelaces are generally not suitable for machine washing as they can fray quickly. We recommend washing the laces separately by hand. Please treat Arctic Contact 2.0 differently due to the fur, in which case only hand washing is recommended.
